Thanksgiving 2009

We had a very laid back Thanksgiving this year. We didn't have any family coming in town and we had no travel plans. Some of our good friends, Liz and Clay, graciously invited the five of us to their house for Thanksgiving lunch. The food was great and the girls had a blast. Here are a few pictures of my three little turkeys:

Halloween 2009

Halloween lasted longer than one day for us. It was three fun filled days. Thursday the girls had a Halloween parade, trick or treating, and Halloween parties at school. Friday morning we had a fun Halloween playdate at a friend's house and Friday night we went to a Halloween party where the kids painted pumpkins, the dad's played Wii golf, and the moms chit chatted. Saturday we went to our church for Trunk or Treat and a magic show, then we went back to a friends house for trick or treating and playing. The girls really enjoyed getting to wear their costumes three days in a row! Emerson was Strawberry Shortcake, Palmer was Strawberry Shortcake's kitty cat, and Hudson was a strawberry. Here are a few pictures of our fun weekend:

Playing Catch Up

It's been forever since I've blogged, so here's my attempt to try and catch up. We've been very busy the last month and a half and had a lot of fun. Here's a peek:
Palmer Turns Two:
Palmer had a fun birthday party at Buckhead Creek. We had water toys and a bounce house. The kids ran wild and had a blast. It was a frog themed party.

Applique Contest

I have entered an applique contest at Planet Applique. The competition was to purchase 5 appliques from a theme set and use all 5 appliques in a project. I made a ocean themed hooded towel. I thought it turned out pretty cute. Please go to www.planetapplique.com/vote2.html
and vote for Under the Sea Beach Towel - Tracy Jones!

First place is a new embroidery machine. It's my dream to get a new bigger, better embroidery machine. According to my husband, I will not be getting a new embroidery machine anytime soon unless I win it, so PLEASE go vote for me. The voting goes until August 30th.

Thanks so much!

Hudson's Dedication

Hudson was dedicated at our church, Faith Baptist, Sunday July 26th. All the family came in for the weekend and we had a great time celebrating our little angel! We are so blessed to have such a sweet gift from God!
