Life Around Our House

Not too much has been going on with us lately. Here are a few pictures of the girls around the house lately. They have so much fun together!
Going for a walk-the weather has been beautiful lately!

Mischeivous Palmer

I found Emerson just like this. She found my breast pump and was pretending to pump. I asked her what she was doing and she said "Mommy, I pump". It's amazing how she picks up on things.

Emerson reading, boy does she love to read!

Here's a video of Palmer blowing razberries and chuckling.

Savannah Playing T-Ball

Savannah, my neice, who is almost four is playing T-ball. She is the only girl on the team. Last time I was in Shreveport, I was able to go to one of her games. It was so cute. Her bat, gloves, and shoes are all pink. She is so prissy. Here are a few pictures and a video.

Palmer's first ear infection

Last week Palmer was running fever. I took her to the doctor last Thursday and found out she has her first ear infection. The fever went away after a day. She acts like nothing is wrong and she loves her medicine! It must taste like candy to her, b/c everytime she sees it she gets so excited and starts talking to it.

One good thing about going to the doctor was that they weighed her. She now weighs 13 pounds even. That's great! That means she's gained a pound in two months. I'm happy with that.

Palmer is eating more and more table food and loving every bite! Here is a picture of her having a bite of PaPaw's ice cream and a video of her first nilla wafer.

Palmer squealed in delight for ice cream!

Totally 80's Party

Annah Mary turned 30 this past weekend and she had a 80's themed party. It was so much fun. It think the most fun was seeing everyone in their costumes! Here are some pictures :

about to start do some leg lifts

It was great flashing back to some classic TV shows and music. The guys had a blast pretending to be a band. Aren't current video games great! Definitley beats Frogger! I think Amanda won best cosutume. Her hair was great! I thought it was a wig. I think Dakota won best baby costume for the best white trash baby look. We kept talking about that people intentionally wanted to look like that. Who knows maybe we'll look back in several years and laugh at this era. It sure was fun. Thanks to Walmart and Goodwill for supplying lots of 80's gear.

My Hubby

Ryan read my blog and wanted to know why I hadn't mentioned him. It is amazing how we get so caught up in our children. Everything is revolved around them. We tend to leave out other important people in our lives. I don't always remember to tell Ryan how I feel. So here are some of my thoughts. Also this is my favorite picture of him. He is in Honduras on a mission trip.

Ryan has truely been a gift to me. He has helped me through some very difficult times in my life. He has also given me our two beautiful children. I am so very proud of him, he has worked very hard. He graduates in June from his Med Peds residency. He has worked very hard over the past four years of residency, not to mention four years of undergrad and four years of Med School. He has grown into an excellent doctor. I'm amazed everyday at how much knowledge he has. He starts his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship, here in Memphis, in July. He has always know what he wants to do, and is now achieving those goals.

Ryan has given me the best gift of all, being able to be home with our children. He is such a provider. We are very blessed with everything we have. God has given Ryan such a gift. I know I don't tell him enough, but I love him with all my heart and thank God for him everyday.

It's not easy living in a household of girls! He's learned more about bows, clothes, and hair than he's ever known. And enjoying it. I love you!
